Throughout Summerville's history there have been 4 town halls to include the current one .   These town halls have provided much more than simply a place for the Mayor's office, City Council, and the Chamber of Commerce.  They have also provided a venue for a variety of assemblies, parties, dances, and commemorations.

It's unique, it's classic, and it's all American. In the heart of the Lowcountry nestled in the midst of the Lowcountry's protected and pristine Wadmalaw Island is the home of the only commercially producing tea farm in America - The Charleston Tea Plantation.

Bone yard beach at Botany Bay - A literal bone yard on the beach? Not exactly. Over the years, the tides have changed and eroded areas where thriving forests once stood. Many of the trees are now fallen over with their massive root systems exposed to the elements. The constant ebb and flow of the sandy beach tides combined with the Sun and salt have quite literally sanded them smooth, and bleached them to a haunting off white that resemble the color of "bone"...

From the ferry ride over to the island to the ferry ride back, this is an adventurous exploration of an island that is unique in every way.
