Summerville is about 30 miles north of Charleston and has a history that coincides. Also it is my town. Consequently, I will be posting about Summerville events and businesses frequently. Tonight is the eve of my beloved wife's birthday and we are dining with some friends at a Summerville favorite - Oscars. I've never had a bad experience there and whatever I order is always the best that I have ever had anywhere. So I am doing a before and after post. It is with great anticipation as we get ready for the evening, and I'm hungry.

That was...as always at Oscars, a truly wonderful time. We met 12 of our very close friends and enjoyed a wonderful dinner together. Our server was Gene...he did a fabulous job. I informed him that it was my wife's birthday tomorrow, and he brought her a dessert on the house; a crepe stuffed with ice cream with whip cream on top drizzled with chocolate syrup. It was good - Beth could only finish part of it....I ate the rest. So thanks to all of our friends and to Oscars of Summerville for a great evening of food, fun, and fellowship.
